With the FX-20 system the range of robbe Futaba console transmitters is extended downwards, so permitting a low-cost entry point to 2.4 GHz technology.
- The FASST system is a Spread Spectrum System with Frequency Hopping (FHSS). Therefore it may transmit a maximum power of 100 mW EIRP and so has sufficient reserves for even large-scale model aircraft and jets.
- No shared channel disruption, almost impossible to have interference, not sensitive to electrical smog.
- The central point is the high-resolution 128 x 64 dot graphical display which is backlit to ensure it is easy to read.
- The system´s elegant design with clean lines is made possible by the new Cap Touch system. Contact-free sensors for the 3D hotkey allow a smooth and sealed surface without any protruding controls.
- Simple programming in combination with the graphical user interface. The proven menu structure and user interface was mainly adopted from the FX30 system, as was the modern and practical design of the casing.
- The software is available in 8 languages: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Russian or Dutch.
- The joystick coupling mechanism has twin ball bearings and is designed for Universal mode. They can easily be converted by the user themselves from "throttle right" to "throttle left". The FX-20 transmitter features the new rotary stick trimming. This type of trimming combines the advantages of traditional analogue trims with those of digital trimming. With just one movement, the direction and size of the trim will be set and automatically stored.
- The linear sliders are very practical in use for additional functions such as gyros, flaps or governors.
- In total the system has 10 channels available (8 prop- and 2 control channels), while the channel sequence can be defined however you want.
- The transmitter is supplied fully equipped with 2 analogue rotary controls and 6 switches.
- As with all robbe console transmitters this system also allows for stick switches to be built in. The electrical connectiobn is already present internally..
- All the different types of control are available. The sequence of the controls can be chosen freely, as well as the sequence of the servo outlets.
- Comprehensive Software has all the necessary functions for power, glider and helicopter models. Plenty of freely programmable mixers, optionally with 5-point curve, for setting up very complex mixer functions..
- Integrated trainer system with individual function switching. Freely configurable trainer channel assignment..
- Using the SD-card the system software can be updated by the user themselves to the latest version at any time.
- 20 internal model memories, with infinite expansion using SD-card - 3862 models per 2 GB.

Helicopter functions
The mixer menus for helicopters are mainly different by use of swash plate controls. All the classic linkage types are included as standard: H1, H2, HR3, HN3, H4 and the new H3 90° and H3 140°
A special feature is the new form of variable pushrod travel compensation for the H3 and H4 types. This function eliminates a common problem found with unequal travels, which can result in servo damage can occur in the long term, when travels are fairly large or asymmetrical. The speed of the pitch-axis (elevator) function can also be adjusted, in order to avoid the run-time differences with the HR3 / HN3 120° swashplate linkage.
