The RG731BX from JR is a DMSS Full Range X-Bus receiver. Instead of Pulse Wide Modulation (PWM), this new X-Bus system utilises JR”s own serial bus data to communicate with X-Bus products (such as servos). Thus, control signals are sent in a serial manner to all channels, with individual servos recognising their own data from the receiver.
The RG731BX can still be used in conjunction with a channel decoder (XB1-CPR) in a serial connection or standard servos can be plugged directly into the PWM ports of the receiver (avoiding the X-Bus port). The RG731BX has 7 ports for PWM (standard servos) and 1 X-BUS port.
