2 Different Flying Modes for Different Levels:
Our 3D Master uses the idle switch functon on the transmitter to pre-define two different flying modes for your helicopter. This make the helicopter ready for all types of pilots, no matter if you are beginner, intermediate or pros! You can change between different fly modes during a single flight without the need to land the helicopter.
- Beginner (normal) – Normal hovering and fly around. Good for beginner to learn and practice.
- Mid-3D (idle) – Performance flight. Fly around, 3D fly and invert fly. The next step for intermediate pilots.

Q1. Is the 6S NEXT 450HV PRO requires to fly in high RPM (rotation speed)?
A1. No, the 6S high voltage system on the NEXT 450HV PRO uses the same (or even lower) RPM speed as the normal 3S 450 heli. Because we use suitable KV and gear ratio to maintain the heli in low RPM while gives out the highest performance.
Q2. Is better for the heli to fly in low RPM?
A2. Yes, the heli is more stable and easy to control when it flies in low RPM. The 6S high voltage system allows the NEXT 450HV PRO to do hard-3D flights in low RPM while the 3S heli requires high RPM to perform the same 3D actions. Thus, you can easily do 3D flights with the NEXT 450HV PRO.
Q3. Why is the 6S better than the 3S system?
A3.Other than easy to control, the 6S high voltage system also drains half off the current of what the 3S does. A standard 3S 450 heli drains around 20A power during hovering, but the NEXT 450HV PRO only requires 10A. This can double the life time of the ESC, motor battery and motor.
Q4. Is the 6S Li-Po battery more expensive and heavy?
A4. No, the price for the 6S 22.2V Li-Po battery is even cheaper than the 3S 11.1V Li-Po battery, plus the battery life is doubled. We specially design this 6S 1300mAh 30C Li-Po battery for 450-class, therefore its weight is around 190g which is very similar to the 3S Li-Po.
Q5. Can I fly the NEXT 450HV PRO longer than a normal 3S 450 heli?
A5. No, the flight time should be the same. But you can perform more hard-3D actions with the heli because the low RPM and current drain always keep the NEXT 450HV PRO in cool condition.
Q6. Is the 6S high voltage system new to 450-class helis?
A6. No and Yes. No, because we started the development of this high voltage system since 2009. It becomes very popular for local and Asian hobbyists next year and all of them are happy and surprised by this great 6S modification. Yes, because many hobbyists around the world do not have the chance yet to try this 6S high voltage system, thought this system is proven to be rock solid locally, it is still new to world. ALIGN also offers this system as an upgrade option to its latest 450 PRO V2 3GX heli released on Aug 2011.
